It'll struggle to get past $1 any time within the next 12 months while the debate about supply versus demand continues. The decline in lithium prices in China recently along with the EV incentives wind back and slowdown in sales in China has put a wind in the sails of the negative camp.

Given that all the major car manufacturers are investing heavily in EV research and development is good for the long-term in say 5-10+ year's time when their flagship cars become electrified, however, I think people are getting a bit ahead of themselves with their short-term predictions.
