However what I meant by that last paragraph was more in the context that hard rock will be competitive even against decent brine operations in conversion to hydroxide by nature of the straight flow sheet rather than carbonate to hydroxide.
In saying that Tianqi etc are telling it is possible to cost effectively produce hydroxide in WA. Not sure that will be at the top of the list for PLS though. I suspect the POSCO plant will go elsewhere
