PLS is selling Li Spod hard rock 6%, this gets converted to Lithium Hydroxide the preferred chemical in the higher capacity NMC NMA Batteries and is cheaper to convert than from Lithium Carbonate which comes from Brine. The Aus hard rock Li Spod miners are in the best position for this upturn. When talking about Chinese Spot Lithium Carbonate prices this is completely different to the Li Spod 6% hard rock prices the likes of MIN / NMT are getting $950USD/ton. This is well above the PLS DFS prices. Yes USD ! Seen the AUD lately !. IMO most Chinese battery chemical plants are retooling now for Lithium Hydroxide as the higher capacity batteries need and which their are higher subsidies for, thus the drop in Li Carbonate spot prices and the solid Lithium Hydroxide prices. ORE commented Lithium Hydroxide is receiving a premium of $2,500 USD over Lithium Carbonate and they themselves have plans of converting 10,000t to Li Hydroxide. The sooner their is a separation and clear prices seen for Li Carbonate -v- Li Hydroxide the better. With all the risks of Brine: weather, many not reaching nameplate, water rights, export taxes going up. I'm much happier investing in Aus hard rock Li Miners. YoY their has not been any decrease in the EV's sold in China and around the world, they continue to grow at a massive rate, these next 4 mths are their biggest sales months in China each year.
