it takes multiple years to get a businuess up and running good. that is what you are investing in long term. the share price in the mean time is controlled by supply and demand which in turn is driven by money supply and sentiment trends, trying to gain money from that is speculation not inestment because what you are counting on is other peoples in the markets behaviour not the co fundamentals.
iither peoples behaviour will be only partially based on likelihood and expectation of co fundamentals will become and also about a million unrelated things including what other cos are doing in other sectors because they actively move their money around trying to catch waves
