Ya’ll talk shit, DYOR you’ll find out that Toyota could have been the first to mass produce an all electric vehicle but they didn’t end up going with that Choice because of the time it took to charge and the maximum distance that could be travelled before recharging hence why they were the first company to have a hybrid go into full production, they were to ones that started the whole industry to think about low fuel mileage options.
I’ve had 4 Prius c vehicles in my company and all have done over 330,000 kms with out change of brake pads or any other parts apart from lights. Our annual fuel bill is about a third what it use to be and we drive on average of about 10000km a month so it’s a big deal. So I love the hybrid technology and until anyone can make an affordable all electric vehicles that has unbelievable quick recharging or an unbelievable range I will consider but until then the Toyota hybrid system is too good value
