I have recently read an article in a NZ newspaper about a problem with a power cut in a town called Taupo. Mid north island. The power disrpution lasted many hours. An EV owner came home after work and was able to connect his car to the house supply and supply electricity to his house to cook his meals, watch TV etc. Interesting.!!!
