I find that hard to believe. The main clean(er) source of Hydrogen is from natural gas and China is already pushing natural gas prices up just trying to provide heating for winter as they move away from dirtier fuel sources. I don't think they have the capacity to start pumping a heap of it into EV's as well. Renewables/Li-ion still clearly the leader in my opinion.
