This posting is not intended to be a subtle down ramping, but an
honest concern of an investor. Over the past week or so there have been
a number of excellent postings that provided articles related to where the
lithium market is going both short and long term. Most of the articles blow
away the Morgan Stanley prognostication that over supply is on the way.
Most of the articles also indicate that demand from auto makers worldwide
will continue to grow sharply.
The one issue that worries me is the possibility that the folks who convert
spodumene into Hydroxide could cause a bottleneck because I don't seem to be
reading much about how these converters are also expanding their capabilities
sufficiently. Is this concern on my part legitimate or am I climbing a wall of worry
here unnecessarily?
