I think, possibly, you are answering @eyeswideopen in the affirmative. That is a large shareholder can lend their stock to shorters with the intent of having the price driven to lower levels, which would obviously assist that large shareholder to accumulate stock at lower prices, where they have a longer term plan.
That said, do you think that stock lending should be banned?
