On the takeover train of thought, wasn't FMG looking to diversify into other minerals other than iron ore?
I could imagine Twiggy thinking that Lithium might be an opportunity and they are pretty cashed up and with Vale's dramas they may be making quite a profit on their iron ore in coming months so even more cash in the tills. Pure speculation on my part but possible.
