Fair comment. Nevertheless, contrary to the minority perception of CC deniers, you can't separate the two (pollution and Co2 excess) and resulting climate change. All are intertwined, despite their argument that they are not. But yes, clean air is the primary goal of EV/battery take-up. In turn it will mitigate pollution and climate change to some level. Any way you like to put it, if the earth isn't in good health - ergo, either is its population (all living things included). Nothing in isolation!
