Why would you run an ICE that costs $80 to refill and requires an expensive service every 3-6 months? I cant fathom why anyone would want to do that when you can have EV that costs $2.50 to recharge and does not require oil and filter changes. There will be no resistance to EV from younger generations. It will come from the older gen set who believe they have a right to destroy the planet for future generations just so they can listen to the sound of their dinosaur technology. I have friends who are actually like that and yes they smoke and they drink so they really don't care about their own future. You know the ones. They even argue to burn coal because it creates jobs. One good thing I observe about this is that these people wont be around much longer.
