Dear me, Koi, you sound like the man who said home computers would never take off, or the man who said mobile phones would never amount to anything more than a rich man's toy. Or the men who say that climate change was a communist plot . With respect to my first 2 points, which were high tech devices and matured over circa 20 years, please consider that EVs are not only low tech, they are simply an extension of the existing car industry, so other than the cost of retooling, EVs are already up and running. Thus, if you go back to the 20 year maturation rate of high tech devices like home computers and mobile phones, then one can safely assume that low tech EVs will mature, and become the dominant transport in circa 10 years. Also, the added necessity of EVs due to the all pervading problem of global air pollution and global warming will accelerate the exponential growth of EVs and associated battery technology. Rationalize the obvious and you will get the picture .
