This is likely a result of the large reduction in federal EV subsidies for Tesla that occurred at end 2H 2018. I have made this point multiple times here and on the GXY site that YOY growth for TSLA to 2H 2018 was not indicative of actual organic growth and that sales would fall once the subsidies reduce. Your information here seems to support that hypothesis about sales brought forward into 2H 2018 to gain access to the subsidies.
