When I was day trading, I applied for a margin loan. I did it through Macquarie. I made a lot of money doing CFD's long and short but you need a lot of technical/charting experience and very tight stop losses. I used to be in front of the computer the whole trading day. Your credit limit depends on your assets. (Portfolio and real estate). I have comfortably retired from my trading loots. Now a days I do St and Lt . I stop subscribing to charting software and data back testing. Every now and then I pick up a DT stock based on the tips from other DT traders but often my entry is higher and my exit is lower but it is still profit. If you decide to borrow don't let greed overcome your vision. Because it was a borrowed money, I always set my exit price before I buy the stock. Good Luck.
