Money printing fundamentals are pretty well an irresistible force. They cannot pretend gold is an immovable object, much as they paint it and deflect it round a bit like a soccer ball while they set up position. Gold specs are firing on future promise, all producers are being influenced by accumulation tactics, in all commodities not just gold. This is long game stuff, but the battles and skirmishes are every day, like the trenches of WW1. Survive each day and collect a chest of valuables off the fallen. He who ducks, dodges and weaves lives to retire with the treasure.
I watch NST mainly to reflect the gold action, and it provides a good indicator of divergences. Starting to link things like this in the case of other shares over a bit of time now as well, and seeing things I've never noticed before.
I used to swing NST with a super parcel but I noticed it didn't follow its usual moves from the day Blackrot took a grip so dropped it as a holder till I understood it better. Still out. Just use my familiarity with it to add to my read of the market.
I have a couple goldies but not more than about 15% holdings at the moment though will hop in and out of others on results as a dt, where sure enough.
