I got into trading last year when I fell in love with DTS (ASX) and still remain very high on them.
But in December last year I started getting into charts and day trading and man some of the losses I've had hurt. Mistakes include;
1) FOMO - buying too high then a dump occurs
2) Researching for 48 hours, seeing a good announcement, buying in at the right time and STILL getting the shakes and selling too early
3) Dumping too high of a percentage of my investment money into ONE stock for the big win
4) Allowing the decisions and opinions of others to override my own research efforts making me stutter at opportune times or buy into an unfamiliar stock
5) Getting addicted to day trade wins and foregoing longer holds with sound logic
And many more!
I'm still a beginner of all beginners and just hope I can keep learning without getting my ass kicked too hard.
