@Patterns, I've seen you referenced this a few times and just want to point out that it's interesting too see the different angle and style you bring to charting, and have proven it to simple and effective. It's very refreshing to have different viewpoints.

I've personally been born and bred to trade with volume all my life.. so I'd probably freak out without it. That's why you won't find me on forex!
I also personally find white backgrounds very distracting, an opposing view to your distaste for the dark backgrounds. I think it comes down to personal preference and what each individual has conditioned themselves to over time.

Love that we are so different in nearly every aspect of our charting but makes things work in our own way.

Well put as always@Jnnl - I find VSA (volume spread analysis) a very useful tool especially on small timeframes - which is our arena for daytrading -

The difference is that FX traders don't have volume? - so level playing field there - perhaps - not 100% sure on that point

I also prefer dark charts - I find they pop- I see things faster - personal preference though - I don't really care what others use -

Supply and demand levels are great - I like to be more exact - where possible
