Hey guys, just found out that the stocks I hold with IG Markets are not actually held by me. They seem to be held by either IG or another party. It seems I hold the CFD's. I only found this out when I tried to take part in the CNB SPP. I had trouble logging in to Computershare so rang them yestetday. Turns out I hold no shares in CNB under my name or HIN. Any share I hold with IG is not registered with the respective broker unlike Commsec. I am guessing that is why when I sell a stock the funds are available immediately.
