Operations Update:

Overall today was a pretty quiet day. One of those days where you feel you should be busier but can’t think of what to do. I just can’t wait to our drill arrives in Bossaso. As every Tues., business as usual, spoke to head of security at Bossaso port and neither him nor his man in the crow’s nest down south had any sightings of a ship being escorted through by the convoy. Oh, well shouldn't be too far. He said he'd call me as as we has word but I'll check up on him next Tues. regardless. I met him once and he come across as one of those guys you just have to keep an eye on. Shifty looking he was, but not dodgy if you know what I meann. Still on track though. Contacted ETP (the guys making the drill) as I do every Tues. to touch base, our Indo interpreter called in sick today so language barrier was hard to get through. It started getting frustrating but I ended up loosing my cool and was yelling Africa... Oil.... Range...Hole... Drill...like Morse code to a slow learner a few times. The guy kept saying in a stoner sort of voice “Bagus!! Bagus...Aussie... Schapelle...Baaaagggusss!” As soon as Selle (the interpreter gets back I’m going to kick his but. I mean, he gets paid to rock up for 1 phone call a week Tues. morn, and today he was sick.) As soon as his lazy arse is well enough he can tell me what Bagus means. After that I called it a day. I'll keep RRS updated as to our operation as regular as possible.
