My thoughts on something bearish is never to buy it.
Catching bounces is a losing man's game. The only exception to this rule for is if if it's a spec stock that's falled ~90% overnight, you always buy it because it's 99% guranateed to bounce.
If you have access to shorting, short. Follow the trend. Rather than buying, wait for the bounce and try to identify the next short opportunity because this may likely be the new trend.
If the market is bullish, why try picking the top (and vice versa)? Just buy/sell the trend and ride the gravy train imo.
