Poor start to the week. A confused execution to the day. Big day of losses.
Sequence of events.
OAR had it all planned to trade. Had an opportunity to buy at around open. However my demand/supply price was lower so did not buy.
NET had this set up in a similar way eventually bought at low and sold at low.
NVX was trending down, not expected.
Other similar set ups... nothing looking like a trade.
By then
OAR has started to rise.. and I was kicking myself for not buying...
Getting impatient now...nothing is working....etc etc What do I do.. I take the plunge into the unknown...
LKE twice with large parcels and not having the nerve to hold when the dip comes/wrong level stop loss. Loss on both occasions. And on both occasions the stock retraced to the profit zone.
By this time of the day I was flying blind.
Then I said JUST STOP.
I am now certain that I cannot be a strict day trader as yet...not sure if that is a future either. I have traded and its not just today, in confusion of the trading style I adopt i.e DT, Active ST, LT. Off course one can do all...but for me I need to decide my core style of trading quickly and adapt mentally.
A little discipline and clarity in mind would have meant...just another day at the office and no losses!
Who said learning how to trade was cheap!
Well! I will get up again and look to change the direction of this trend.
