Wrong way to look at it. Don't let the wind get taken out of your sail when taking profit. This thinking next time may have you waiting too long, miss the profit yacht. Let the wind get taken out of your sail with a loss instead. Appreciate making a profit, especially if you are working while trading. Kudos for profit taking while working to you Mr. WD.
