I guess the question on everyone's minds is whether this is going to be the beginning of the next great recession since 2008, or something that will eventually be a minor blip in the rear-view mirror.
I think the panic over the virus is, while not unfounded, perhaps overstated. Doesn't the ordinary flu kill 500,000 people each year?
