    yes, its certainly captured the world in terms of the next thing to climb the wall of worry.

    but, perspective, the swine flu 10 yrs ago killed around 650 000 people worldwide I heard tonight on the drum. And as you said, deaths from general flu possibly up to 500 000 annually.

    the thing is a lot of people in there 60s and 70s die due to old age and ill health brought about by immune systems getting belted and not coping.
    is that a virus or old age, it's a bit of both really I suppose.

    so they say, maybe 1 out of 2 people may get this virus and it just comes across as mild cold symptoms.

    its the spreading news that has ramped it up in last few days.

    No need to panic in Aus.

    good to be an island sometimes,,, most times!!!
