I have already dipped my toe in over the past few weeks in the NZX for some longer-term investing. I will definitely look into the thread you provided. I have always been interested in the idea of doing some short term trading and figured seen as I have a free month I may as well start reading up on chart patterns and other skills needed. I'm also wondering what the general consensus on the best charting software. Im also wondering what everyone does about commission i know for me on the ASB platform they charge $30 per buy and sell. I feel like this must cut into your profit a lot and was wondering if there are any alternatives.
