BEIJING, Jan 13 (Reuters) - China had gold reserves of 19.29 million ounces at the end of 2002, up from 16.08 million ounces at the end of November, the central bank said on Monday.
China had gold reserves of 16.08 million ounces at the end of October, the bank said. That was unchanged from the end of September. ($1=8.277 Yuan)
That means China bought 3 million ounces in Dec or $1billion....must have been part of the cause of the rally seen.
