    @Cabbie. Hey Cabbie, great how you bought up engulfing candles today.

    Personally i love them as an indicator for both bullish and bearish pivots and are usually very productive. But I’m sure I’m looking at a different description than yourself and am seeking clarification please.

    My view of an “engulfing candle” is one that totally overlaps the body of the previous days candle meaning it goes past its high and past its low not just equaling either end. I take the wicks out of the equation.

    Here is TEG during the later parts of trading today. Now i read this as the perfect “engulfing candle” and very bullish. (Unfortunately it got sold down a little at close so todays body finished equal with yesterdays therefore i don’t call it engulfing).

    See i didn’t see your example today of DSE as “engulfing” so i wouldn’t have given it a second thought as bearish.
    Appreciate it if you could spend a couple of minutes on this as it’s something i use a lot when seeking entries and i may have been incorrect.
    BTW, i get most of this from that book you recommended for me.
