Hey mate, CoVid19 virus death toll currently sitting at 3,130. And that includes the most populated country in the world - China with over a billion people. So, unless Aussies are all a sickly bunch of people, then the 96,000 deaths estimate is absolutely ridiculous. Same with a British professor stating over 100,000 Brits could die.
Death toll has been ranging 2.5 to 3% it seems. So 97 to 98.5% chance you will NOT die. Most get what's similar to a cold or a chesty flu and get over it fine. The poor buggers who die are usually older age bracket (pushing up to 15% chance), kids seem to brush it off fine, others with pre-existing conditions are at a higher risk.
