I've been in your position too, and had a tendency to sell out of stocks I thought would continue to run ... and they did. one of the things I now do with stocks like this is trade for free carry shares. It works for me to protect my capital and still retain an interest in the company. Almost always I would have been better gains-wise by holding the parcel and letting the profit run... like that time with PBH/APT/VUL/WAF .... but, I like sleeping at night. I'm free carry on CNB and I will either buy or trade for more for LT hold. Good luck and thanks for the questions, helps me to learn from others and understand my own plan better. C
