As you point out, part of this game is assessing whether something is a catalyst. The AVZ news doesn't constitute news because it's not really new. The followers of companies like AVZ have to realise that a catalyst will involve information that directly impacts their ability to become a productive mine.

With OCC and AVZ, we had a great example today that highlighted the difference between 'news' and genuine catalyst for the purposes of trading.
