I had some CAN but sold out for BE a few months back after holding for too long... I read into how hard the system was to get the product from producer to consumer. The patients have to be registered with the GP and then the GP has to be registered to allow the Marijuana, then the patient needs to be on a register to get what they need, there just seemed like barrier after barrier to entry for consumers and then cost is prohibitive. I like the Canadian structure much better, I am not sure there is money in it for Aussie companies until they iron out the over regulated farm to consumer issues. I am not sure where to check anymore, but last time I looked there was only like 15,000 people registered to legally buy it with a script even though 100,000s wanted/needed it.

The security around the farms and logistics of it all in Aus also seems... weird, armoured transport vehicles, 24/7 security under lock and key at the farms, undisclosed locations for growth. etc etc.

I consult with specialist medico legal doctors (amongst other things) and we looked at setting up our own production facilities/farm etc and it was extensive to get the licences and then the upkeep and overheads just to maintain compliance was huge... I suppose you could see that as a positive for barriers to entry though, but my concern always comes back to how difficult it is for someone to actually gain access to the product.
