Sorry V, but I don't think that this thread has deteriorated. It's just become a true "Daytrading Thread". Fast and furious. And I love it this way.
I see some short term traders or investors regularly come on here and lament this but they ignore the thread dedicated for them on hotcopper called "ASX - Short Term"
You won't see me go on the short term thread and lament that it's not a daytrading thread
