Your post seems to be a counterfactual. Lately, I am seeing more conversation about trading less rather than more. People are readily admitting they have parked most of their capital outside of the market and reducing their exposure to risk. I accept there are and always will be people overexposed to high risk trades. However, I see long-termers winding back in the current market and many of the conversations in the Day traders threads reflect this fact.
