I am amazed by how many punters try and make money by trying to pick the bottom of a stock in a massive downtrend with loads of stuck traders waiting to sell into any run
Usually this results in a big losing trade
Any win is 1 or 2 pips so hardly worth the effort
Far easier to buy breakouts and trade with the trend as well as not having overhead sell pressure from stuck holders
