As for "Sugar Daddy", those advertisements were printed in local news papers dating back to the 1920's. It meant the same thing then as it does now and became popular enough for the Tootsie Roll confectionery company to rename their "Papa Sucker" lolly to the "Sugar Daddy" in 1932. Technology is the one and only thing that will surprise anyone in this day and age.
