Thanks for the shout out Nick but seriously, I’m not to be put in the same category as many of the extremely experienced traders here.
Re your question, I found that after kicking the bucket around the yard for a while attempting all styles of trades, you will establish what’s suitable for your own personality, temperament and skill sets. Personally I still daytrade to increase my skills and understanding and to get a wage but my serious income is from short termers. Both strategies are great but require different charting setups and skills.
Since you’ve been doing this for a few months now you may have already discovered the type of trading your comfortable with but if you’re still in limbo don’t rush it or lock yourself into a style that you’re not at rest with.
Overnight success takes a year or so.
