True day trading in my mind is pure luck
Watching volume ,chatter and ticks up helps I guess
I’ve been in the market for 30 years plus and still can’t day trade successfully
That’s not to say I don’t do well
I find my success is associated with finding undiscovered spec gems ,
building a position over time then wait for the traders to arrive and sell into their hype.
Discovering the “ gems “ ain’t easy but read everything.
I spend an hour or so each night flicking thru asx notices - changes in directors interests , changes in major holders , who’s in the top 20 , track history of directors blah blah .
( I do admit time builds knowledge of who and what to look for )
Also never buy what I can’t afford to hold for a while .
And most important I love nuffin in the market
The market is great fun . Enjoy without stress.
