If you read my post again I never said millions will die I said if we did nothing they would. I understand that 10-15% of people infected need to go to the hospital if we had many more cases the hospital wouldn’t be able to handle it.
All I was saying it was better to treat it as we did because we only have lost a few lives, but what if we didn’t take these measures? Do you know what would of happened? Because I don’t, by looking at the stats we know atm 650k cases 32k dead that is 5% death rate (prolly more cases that aren’t confirmed so let’s go with 3%) use those figures and estimate that 1/4 of the population got it 1.75B and 3% of them die (3% of 1.75B) around 52 million deaths. That is what could of happened if left unchecked. So yeah I am glad they did something.
