My trading journey.
In 2014 I retired in my mid 50’s and wanted to keep my brain active. I explored various options and in the end share trading seemed a good fit in that I could utilise my commercial background, it was portable in that I could trade anywhere with an internet connection, it was an activity I could put on hold whenever I wanted, and was a new skill for me to explore, and finally it offered a new stimulus for my brain.
Over the next few years I was able to spend a fair amount of time reading, watching videos and all the while absorbing as much as possible. There is such a plethora of information available that one could quite easily suffer from analysis paralysis but I wanted to absorb and retain the offerings that I connected with and relegate the rest to the bin. I do feel it is relevant to explore as you may even just pick up one snippet that you can earmark for future.
Anyway, without digressing further I offer some websites and links that I found beneficial on my journey. I was going to provide PDF file copies of books but found that some have warnings about copying (hence https).
Enjoy the journey and please never feel you are too clever and that you have finished learning. Also, be humble and kind and pass on skills as you go.
