Yes, this was true. Very easy to do at one point in Adelaide. Not so easy any longer as all the schools are overcrowded and zoning is strict and you need to present documentation each year as proof of residence.
We can relocate, this is an option. We have the option to purchase property within the zone for one of the 'best 'public schools. Property within the zone comes with a premium attached to the sale price. So, brings me back to the question of pay the additional for the zoned property or take the extra money and purchase private education.
