Either way, the kids have to surround themselves with the kids that want to learn.
My daughter does, my son doesn't.
It shows.
My daughter had completed year 10 by the end of year 9.
My son is no chance.
You probably really need to judge if you son wants to do heavy learning.
My daughter did 21 hours a week in year 7. And that was a public school.
She still studies with friends who go to private schools. It lifts her up a bit. And it's all her choice to hit a library until 6pm.
