Going forward into the election and perhaps uncertainty , more important than picking solid stocks , is choosing sectors that are about to get bullish, because even solid shares go down with the sector. We don't look to yesterday to know which sectors will be bullish, we look forward . We can't make money off yesterday. Ideal is to pick the best stocks in the primed sectors . This election hasn't taken the big players by surprise . They have been busy getting shares ready for the elections. Their positions will be the same no matter who wins the election. Big players move like elephants in the market . They can't get in and out in a hurry . They are already preparing their positions ,and getting the charts ready .
