Anyways loads to do in London as you know . Plenty to entertain you , Wimbledon village is pretty cool if you head south I think from memory its the green line (train ,subway, Richmond ( Northern Line ) park is great , Putney is another pleasant area . Go check out Mayfair . Go to trafalgar ,than walk down to the thames , Loads of places . It will do you so good to explore the place ,especially after the crap you had to endure . Weather is perfect for getting out and about.

You will adjust and thrive ! I bet you in no time you will make the most of exploring cool cities in europe . Its never boring so full of man made and natural beauty, Think about spending a new years eve in Prague , Than following year in Barcelona than the year after that in Amsterdam etc , etc . weekends away to any city in europe any time as it does not break the bank at all , Its so doable in any budget , Than dont forget about Dublin and edingurgh You are gonna love the English pubs and the English country side . I dont think you will be bored .
everyone is fine ,Just remember that the northerners are far more accommodating and as a whole dont take themselves to seriously . I reckon they are more in tune with our larrikin ways.
