Re your ".......line wipe coming into close today" : This is just an observation of mine - for what its worth:
Out of a total of 686 trades today, totalling 14,400,000 shares, there were only 29 at 21.5 comprising : a) 15 trades after 4pm for 197,165 shares, so obviously not a line wipe during the auction b) only 14 others, all between 10.15 and 10.39am, for 380.996 shares
These stats tell me therefore that there's a lot of accumulators out there, picking up what they can at 20 if they're lucky - but mostly have done at 20.5 and 21.0, today. That also infers to me that they're expecting some sort of gradual increase in the SP in the coming days, when possibly? IVZ will ANN results of the 4 samples they got from #2's original well last week. What do others think?
