Agree with all you've said, Wrighty. China's property crisis looks to have a long way to run. The Communist government has struggled to get free markets to dance to its tune, but they're learning, and they're getting better at it - great for them, disastrous for us. The Lucky Country does little more than dig up dirt and ship it. Great wages for those willing to do it, but the current nickel disaster demonstrates the impact of wages on competitiveness when competitors like Indonesia get serious. Hard to be too optimistic about the commodity outlook at the moment, but there is always something unexpected around the corner. Prices tend to reverse when things look bleakest.
