Thanks R08, solid advice and in line with all the material / books I've been reading the past couple of years.
Thankfully a Trading Plan was one of the first things I put together based on a mentor at the time. Took a string of losses in the beginning myself (although only a couple of thousand) because I was clueless and shorting stocks 4 weeks after the covid drop (ie. the worst possible timing!). Thankfully I learned from it and have worked on my skills since / continually trying to learn from mistakes.
Seems big losses can be the best teacher of all unfortunately, glad to hear you've become annually profitable. Hope I can get there soon myself whether it be day trading or a combination of day and trend trading etc.
