Thank you afternoon crew. Hope everyone had a profitable week, if not in hard cash then in learning.

Today 399 years ago was born one of the smartest men who ever lived. Jean-Baptiste Poquelin, aka Moliere, had a genius for the pithy quote, several of which are oddly appropriate for the world of investing/trading:

"Trees that are slow to grow bear the best fruit."
"A learned fool is more a fool than an ignorant fool."
"The greater the obstacle, the more glory in overcoming it."
"It infuriates me to be wrong when I know I’m right."
"It is not only what we do, but also what we do not do, for which we are accountable."

There is loads more where that came from. Might print some of these out on hard cardboard so I can hit myself with them when I do something stupid.

    Market report to follow shortly.
