I seem to be mistiming my entries and exits.
I'm trying to make sure I cut my losses early, rather than hold a losing stock (as I already hold plenty of those).
NMT - got out when it was declining yesterday as I had set my exit a bit too high. Still took a profit, but if i had held onto it till end of today it would've been perfectly fine.
2nd parcel of NMT (that I then bought for an overnight hold) also caused an issue. I got impatient, and decided to take a small loss. Unfortunately the stock then eventually started to go up after a few hours, and would've reached my initial exit point.
GT1 - sold that way too early. I took a profit on the 31st Dec, and of course it kept going up.
Also noticed that ASX seem to be putting out price queries a lot quicker than previously.
4 stocks from yesterday, MLX, MRR, CDT and GT1 had increases of about 19-40%.
2 stocks today, CAU and CMD had increases of about 13-42%.
I could be wrong, but I don't recall them being this quick in previous years.
