@Veritas2000 Hello my dear friend. I am hoping you guys, or anyone can help me here please. I have some shares in a company, I am trying to trade a portion of them. Now please be kind all, I must be a bit dense here, but I just cannot figure out how to adjust the average price on selling.
Here is an example. Holding 60,000 shares at average 40c p.s. Sell 25,000 at 54c p.s.
I have read that you need to figure out which shares you are selling, from the ATO site. But my poor brain just doesn't get it?
Say I paid 35c p.s. Can anyone do an idiot proof calculation for me please. Thank you.
